If you read my blog last year entitled Autumn, you’ll know that my fall experience was some what deprived growing up in Florida; so when I was invited to go apple picking I was super excited.
We went to Valley View Farm in Delaplane, Va. They have an array of different orchards- apple, peaches, blueberries, blackberries, and more. They also sell their own honey, butters and jams, mead, wine, cider, and more.
We started with their cider sangria and a bottle of red wine. We brought with us an assortment of snacks to make our own charcuterie board.
After we were done eating we grabbed our bags and it was time to pick apples. I think we were a little late to the party because they barely left us any apples 😒. But we were able to salvage a few good ones ☺️.
Every year I love fall more and I cannot wait for the leaves to change.
